We had a really lovely morning at Abbey Lea Care Home last week when pupils from Barlby Community Primary School came to deliver handmade Easter cards to our residents!
It is always a treat when children visit and this was no exception. The pupils arrived with their cards and took the time to hand them to residents personally, which made it feel really special. There is something about the energy that children bring into a home that is just hard to put into words. Residents were smiling from the moment they walked through the door.
Abbey Lea has a long standing partnership with Barlby Community Primary School and we have enjoyed many visits over the years. We are always grateful to the school for thinking of our residents and hope to welcome them back again very soon!
