At Selby Care Homes, residents are invited to decorate their room with framed pictures, ornaments, and anything else they feel would help them to feel settled in their new home.

This includes help with personal care, bathing, dressing, and moving around, and senior care assistant’s complete specialist training in order to safely administer medication to residents. All of our teams are trained to support our residents’ emotional wellbeing and are always on hand when this is sought.
Activities are held every day at our homes and vary from calming activities such as drawing and colouring, to more exciting things like visits from farm animals and mobile pantomimes. We really like to provide residents with as many different experiences as possible within our residential care homes in Selby and include seasonal events such as visits from Christmas choirs and garden parties for residents and families in the summer.
Daily life at our elderly residential care home is greatly enhanced by our wonderful catering teams who cook fresh meals every day and often undertake baking with our residents.
